About Jenks
Just off the Arkansas River and US Route 75, Jenks is a large suburb of Tulsa that has seen spectacular growth over the past decade. This popular community offers numerous attractions, including the Oklahoma Aquarium, the Riverwalk along the Arkansas River, street festivals and parades, and antique and art stores. Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry hails from Jenks, and the education system here is held up as an example for the entire state; in 2005 the Jenks Public Schools received the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award from President George W. Bush.
